Back in April, we received a call that was not exactly a typical enquiry. It was from a TV producer working on Alan Titchmarsh’s ‘Love You Garden’ programme, about a project they were filming in Plymouth.
Once we heard about the nature of the project – and the recipient’s inspirational story, when we were excited to be able to help and were delighted to design, supply and install a Jakob green wall (also known as a living wall) for the garden.
Our Jakob green wall system was used to provide a living backdrop for the garden’s play area. The system we provided is lightweight and quick and easy to install, which made it perfect for the programme’s extremely tight build programme! And with a range of plants selected, including star jasmines and wisterias, the green wall will evolve and mature to give many years’ enjoyment.
