Webnet Frames at Kidwelly Castle
Weather Resistant Frames Providing Safety in Kidwelly Castle
Kidwelly Castle is a Norman castle that overlooks the River Gwendraeth and the town of Kidwelly in Carmarthenshire, Wales. Dating back to the 12th century, the castle has an interesting and varied history with many twists and turns.
Kidwelly castle still stands today and is a popular visitor attraction; a great example of how castles were designed with defence in mind. In order to keep today’s visitors safe, Jakob INVISS-C frames were supplied to secure a bridge within the castle. Manufactured from marine grade 316 stainless steel, Webnet frames are designed to withstand the elements and require little to no maintenance.
Needing to provide safety without disturbing the views in the castle, the Webnet frames provided the perfect solution, thanks to Webnet’s high levels of transparency. The stainless steel finish is also elegant and discreet, providing inconspicuous safety for the bridge.
