Our green walls (sometimes called living walls) are lightweight and are fast and easy to install. They support plants which are planted on site and which then become established over a period of time before fully covering the trellis.
From small garden wire trellises (like the one that was featured in the ITV programme, Love your Garden) and kitchen gardens, to multi-storey car parks, sport stadiums and shopping centres, our system delivers a wide range of aesthetic and performance benefits.
Jakob Green Walls not only help to improve the overall appearance of a building, but they also help to regulate its temperature (keeping it warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer), reduce noise and protect the façade from the damage that can be caused by weather or graffiti.
However, Green Walls are also exceptionally good for the environment. They help to green our cities and urban areas and provide cleaner air. They also aid bio-diversity, offering natural habitats for local flora and fauna to flourish.
Plants can be grown up the green wall system or cascaded down. In either case, maintenance is simple and straightforward and is carried out at the planter level.
